Art Deco Napier

We travel north again up to the seaside town of Napier, which was famous for being flattened by an earthquake in the 30's. Nice little town, with a pebble beach. Archie's Bunker Backpackers were comfy and well appointed, but didn't seem like anything here was unique. Grab some shopping, get some work done, and decide to continue on to Taupo for some of what New Zealand is famous for.
